Saving the Lightships - This site by Jerry Radloff includes general lightship history and information on each of the United States' 15 remaining floating light stations. As of December 27, 2001 this site is not available.
The Canadian Coast Guard has an excellent page on lightship history. 
Goleulong 2000 Lightship based in Cardiff Bay, Wales -  This lightship will be home to a center for counselling, worship, exhibitions, and more. It was originally the Helwick LV14, last stationed off Rhossili, on the Gower Peninsula, in South Wales.
