- The
Norwalk Seaport Association runs ferries to Sheffield Island for $20
round trip. Weekday departures from the South Norwalk dock
(6/29-9/11) are 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Weekend and Holiday
departures (May-Sept 27) are 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
Birdwatching cruises around the island are at 7:30 a.m. July 18, August
1, 15, and 29. There are Thursday night clambakes (6 to 10 PM)
and Lighthouse tours. Reservations required.
