Accessibility: This lighthouse is not open to the public and is best seen by boat.

Prudence Island ferry from Bristol passes fairly close by.

Station established: 1886 (lightship)

Present lighthouse built: 1901; Automated: 1964

Construction material: Cast iron

Height of tower: 60 feet; Height of focal plane: 54 feet

Original optic: Fifth order Fresnel; Present optic: 250 mm

Characteristic: Three seconds white alternating with three seconds darkness

Fog signal: Two blasts every 30 seconds

The structure is privately owned; the light is an active U.S. Coast Guard aid to navigation
