Tower height: 51 feet (present tower), focal plane: 53 feet.

This lighthouse no longer exists (replaced by modern fiberglass structure).

The modern tower can be seen from many sightseeing cruises leaving Boston and from a public trail around Deer Island.

Present optic: VRB-25

Characteristic: Alternating white and red flash every 5 seconds.
